Overview
The Socio-Economic Relations Office (Pôle relations avec le monde socio-économique – RMSE) at the University of Strasbourg aims to:
- Promote the university across the socio-economic community, including businesses, local authorities and associations
- Facilitate access to the university’s resources and expertise
- Enrich university life through contributions from business and community partners
- Support the university’s contribution to economic development at local, regional, national and international levels
Its main responsibilities include:
- Managing income from licenses and patent bonuses
- Managing and coordinating relationships with the university’s external partners
- Supporting university services in their work with socio-economic stakeholders on collaborative projects
- Overseeing hosted companies and temporary use of university facilities
- Leading the European KTUR project, which supports cross-border innovation and collaboration between universities and businesses in the Upper Rhine region
- Co-organising employment forums, including the Work-Study Forum (Forum de l’alternance) and the Traineehsip and Jobs Forum (Forum Stage Emploi)
- Contributing to the Territoire de santé de demain initiative, which promotes health innovation and preventive care in the region
- Co-organising local events
- Processing applications for scientific competitions
