SSU works in close collaboration with the University life service - Handicap mission (SVU - Mission handicap), a dedicated service for disabled students: personalized welcome, needs assessment, support and specific monitoring, human and technical assistance. SSU's physicians issue a medical opinion regarding the disability situation of the student. This enables to develop a Support Program for the Disabled Student (PAEH, in French), specifying the necessary adjustments and compensary measures to the curriculum and / or exams.
You should make an appointment with the SVU - Mission handicap before going to SSU

BE CAREFUL WITH DEADLINES FOR APPLICATIONS OF ADJUSTMENTS:

For the 2018-2019 academic year, requests for adjustments to studies and / or examinations must be made:

- for the first semester, evaluation at the SVU - Mission handicap: no later than November 16, 2018 and medical examination at SSU or CAMUS no later than November 23, 2018.
Decision order signed no later than December 14, 2018.

- For the second semester, assessment at the SVU - Mission handicap no later than March 8, 2019 and medical examination at SSU or CAMUS no later than March 15, 2019. Decision order signed no later than March 29, 2019.

Requests for improvements are to be renewed evry year. However, some applications may be validated for a full license cycle.
